This is old (2007) so i hadn't read it before. It is just so sad and very relevant to today's situation with trans treatment.

I've just started a thread but with the JB tweet accompanying it.
I think it's relevant to see how she was treated after it.

(Yes the silence of the lambs but is difficult but I guess that's what the person experienced?)

My point was that surely self id really does wipe out access to careful considered treatment as well as mh support.

I picked it up off JBs Twitter. She is such a sympathetic journalist. It beggars belief she was pilloried for writing someone's story really.
