I read this article earlier today about a girl detransitioning. It was disconcerting, but not surprising, to read her acknowledgement of the difference in attitude between the older and younger members of the trans community. Having read Lily Maynard's blog and followed some of her links and others, it does make me fear for the younger generation.

My gender dysphoria was real and often painful, but the way for me to resolve it wasn't by becoming a man. It was by questioning and rejecting the stories society had told me about what it means to be a woman

Good for her
