The Mail almost always allows comments and rarely moderates or deletes comments, unlike The Guardian. The almost incredible irony of the last 24 months or so is that it is the right wing press and right wing men who are the defenders of free speech.

Long time lurker here. I’ve just emailed the WEP to explain why I’m leaving their mailing list. What hope is there if a party set up for women doesn’t even see women’s rights being eroded and is scared into firing people who raise relevant questions?

Well they certainly champion free speech when it aligns with their agenda. The Daily Mail are still only out for themselves, that hasn't changed.
