Just heard about this on the radio

www.theallbright.com/

They are launching a female only business club in London and will have a second venue soon.

Will get the MRAs up in arms no doubt

My first question is, will it be females only or will gender self ID be allowed. Can't see anything on the website, anyone know?

there was an article about this in a certain lefty newspaper which i swore to myself i would never read again (i am weak and have work to do, hence procrastination, wait, why am i here on MN?)

the below the line comments were quite interesting; a fair amount of disgruntlement from men about how dare these women only help privileged women etc etc. the snarkiness of these comments reminded me of a chat thread started here about a week ago, which i can't now find, which seemed to suggest the current TRA movement is the logical conclusion of feminism. a kind of thinly veiled "you all deserve this because of what you were asking for".

oh they're having a second venue? I wonder where that will be.

I also wonder what they will do about self ID. A club won't be covered by the Equality Act...or will they?

how on earth can TRA be the logical conclusion of feminism?! (sorry I realise that's not to do with the topic but clearly I missed that thread, just as well I guess).

It was the standard antifeminist saw about how if Feminism says that men and women are the same then this is the equality you asked for, innit?

I find that such a crock....no one ever claimed there were no biological differences...
