God that’s rage inducing. I hate the claim that LM gets huge amounts of violent threats on social media - highly unlikely as so many people are automatically blocked. So many lies. Wonder when/if LM is going to go a step too far?

Don't forget MRAs have lots of 'fake' accounts &sock puppets. It is highly likely they have fake feminist accounts and harass LM.

I saw one called 'Maria Mac' for example spouting the sort of shit that stirring infiltrators come out with.

For example using words like 'scum' - which feminists never/extremely rarely use.

"Violent death threats" = someone deadnamed me. That's as good as killing me, hence it's a death threat.

"Horrific abuse" = someone misgendered me.

"Constant harassment" = feminists don't agree with me (on this one subject).

"virulent transphobia" -= saying "women don't have dicks" (in a virus-like manner)

LM doesn't get a lot of abuse. He doesn't actually get that many tweets about him at all, which I'm sure is most offensive to his sensibilities.

At some point presumably someone will realise that Lily is a fantasist. I wonder whether this was arranged by the Labour Party. If so I don't hold out much hope of Lily being reined in any time soon.

Really interesting to see Trumpian politics in action though. You can essentially make up whatever Bullshit you like, publish it as fact, and the masses suck their teefs and blindly agree with every word. It's very interesting. What's more interesting is that where Don allegedly knows what he is doing (essentially, well, everyone is thick, I can lie and get elected - although the jury is out on whether he has convinced even himself that he is the Messiah now) LM apparently wasn't ever able to differentiate between an outright lie in order to court followers, and has never been able to differentiate cynical ploy from fiction. That's where it strays into the territory of potential personality disorder, which worries me. There is a huge difference between a calculating spokesperson who knows full well that they are lying to achieve a particular effect, and a traumatised or potentially unwell person who believes their feelings are indeed facts and intends to campaign for societal changes based on that. I feel hurt so you must have hurt me. I'm going to ensure you can never hurt me or anyone else like me again.
It reminds me a lot of the latter chapters of Walking on Eggshells, with false allegations of abuse etc. It's very dangerous for both sides, and continuing to give Lily a platform without some very sensible down to earth support isn't helpful for anyone.

So I'm a bit torn. Either LM is cynically using absolute lies for the cause (not completely persuaded, as this would also mean cynical use of vulnerable lady tears) or is indeed a vulnerable individual who really should be supported and not put in a position that they are unable to cope with (erring towards this. The more I see, the more I get echoes of the people I have known with PD).

It really isn't! LM is throwing temper tantrums all over Twitter. This may work for a little while for a youth politician because of its novelty value. However, it won't make anyone take LM seriously in politics.

LM is really thin on substance, refuses to engage with anyone who even asks questions (never mind people who disagree) and resorts to simply calling people 'TERF' in lieu of an actual argument. LM's actual policy suggestions, if they can be called that, include kicking people out of the LP and 're-educating' women who object to the presence of physical males in women's spaces on religious grounds. LM apparently doesn't realise just how much this smacks of Stalinism - that's never a good thing but particularly not in the LP.

LM wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell in the Commons. Why are people encouraging this? In my worst tinfoil-hat moments, I ponder whether it's all a huge elaborate real-life trolling exercise!
