Some of them seem to have grasped the self id but think it only applies to being a woman. That's because the term "woman" has been successfully established as being just a feeling that any man might have.

They havent grasped that the info clearly says self id is accepted for all the categories. Because that would be totally different obviously (not really) and couldn't possibly be the the case right?

And to me. I've always and voted Labour but I shan't again, not since they have shown such a disregard for me and all women.

I wasn't a party member though, so my loss won't be quantifiable to them yet.

Labour has got a bigger problem than self-ID and that is Momentum. It will be years (and a number of lost general elections) before it becomes a electable.

Weren't racial self-ID or disability-related self-ID 'totally different and definitely racist/ableist' just a second ago? Weren't people going on and on about how Rachel Dolezal (BAD!!!) was not, in any way, shape or form, to be compared to trans people (GOOD!!!)?

I'm not usually a proponent of the slippery slope type of argument which is - correctly so, in my humble opinion - generally regarded to be a logical fallacy of the first order. However, I sort of struggle to see how this is not precisely what's happening here:
