How would that work, tasteslike?

I name change frequently so as not to be identifiable. I've NC'd since saying I wanted to go to this.

I will be going alone so I would like to meet others beforehand if possible.

CandlesAndIncense · 15/02/2018 22:38

No, I wouldn't mind a man going either.

busyboysmum · 16/02/2018 09:39

I went to the Manchester meeting. It was inspiring and I would urge as many people who can go to do so. There were both men and women of all ages there. I want to go to another one now. Don't feel scared. We must stand up speak out as our arguments are so valid. There was no trouble whatsoever at the Manchester meeting.

Agerbilatemycardigan · 16/02/2018 09:43

I'm hoping to be at the London meeting on the 27th. Don't know where it's being held yet.

wossaname · 16/02/2018 10:53

Hi, I’m coming from outside Brum, won’t have time to meet up beforehand but looking forward to it. Went to the Manchester event which was great. We got the location the day before, by email. I’m not on Mumsnet often but I am on Lily’s hitlist.

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 16/02/2018 10:57

I'm going.

I went to an event run by Critical Sisters and something like this happened there too.

They have your contact details, they will contact you shortly before the event.

You have to have a ticket. Is there no way you could print it off? Library? Work?

flintyminty · 16/02/2018 21:08

I've got my ticket Smile. Travelling by train after work, about 1 hour from Birmingham so probably won't have time to meet before.

On my email it looks like you can download an e-ticket on your phone. I haven't tried yet, just saw the link.

KingsHeathen · 16/02/2018 22:50

Sorry, has the date for this changed?

KingsHeathen · 16/02/2018 22:51

Blush I am a fool.
I hate the fact that the days/dates in march are identical to those in February!

dogendsaredogs · 16/02/2018 23:21

Bit emnarrassing got the date wrong. i should have known an event wouldn;t be advertised only a week before. Not the first time I;ve done this either. Doh.

busyboysmum · 17/02/2018 00:40

I did this last year. Turned up for a children's party a month early 😁😂🤣

theaveragewife · 28/02/2018 08:21

Just bumping this following last night’s meeting!

I’m going!

PlonitbatPlonit · 04/03/2018 16:11

Brilliant that you're going theaveragewife. Anyone else going?

Niskasrevenge · 04/03/2018 20:07

Still going; still up for meeting in advance if we can find a cunning way of meeting up. (Haven't had the eventbright notification re: confirming location yet though....)

theaveragewife · 04/03/2018 20:14

Yes pub before would be great! I think we just get the location on the day?

If any London attendees can give recommendations of how to go about meeting in this situation that’d be v helpful!

ApocalypseNowt · 04/03/2018 20:23

Wah! Couldn't go to the one in Manchester and I can't make this one either.

I will go to one! I am determined.

One in Leeds would be ever so convenient if anyone has any sway in these matters....

whitehandledkitchenknife · 04/03/2018 22:17

Looking forward to it. Coming with at least 2 colleagues.
