Just a thought. Anyone can stand in a general election, providing they meet residency requirements and stump up £500 deposit. And when the returning officer declares the result they read each candidates name and the name of their party and how many votes they have. Many of the results are televised - the PM, the leader of the opposition, the constituency that always declares first etc.
We wouldn’t have to campaign on anything other than keeping women’s spaces for women and highlighting what trans actually means (I think most people before they’re peak transed think that TIMs have had their genitals removed) - indeed we wouldn’t need to campaign on anything, just be the person that brings the issue more to the mainstream?
If enough candidates stand in the right constituencies then surely the story will be picked up on and we could peak trans millions.
