I've been trying to find out when or if the consultation that Justine Greening promised will actually be put out. The government have been very quiet on the issue, we only hear it discussed if questioned directly like Andrew Marr. Seeing Corbyn squirm on the issue was quite revealing. The issue is kept alive by controversies like transgender womens officers, or very non political issues like trans people in changing rooms, vile prisoners looking for transfer to womens jails, speculation transgender women will be employed in womens refuges without a GRC, etc.
Has it been kicked into the long grass? Were they not even serious in the first place? Or is it quietly rumbling on beneath the Brexit chaos topping all the headlines atm?
