Am I a TERF?

Would someone kindly explain what a TERF is?
I've looked it up on Google but am none the wiser.

If you believe men can’t become women, TIMs shouldn’t be in female spaces and women don’t have dicks, then yes, you’re a TERF according to the TRA bullies. Come on into the Feminist threads, it’s very welcoming of people who don’t believe that you can change sex because of the feels.

It’s a term that trans bullies use to insult those that don’t follow their doctrine.

Do you oppose the denial of fundamental biological tenets and gendered misappropriation which men often employ in a misogynisticly motivated attempt to oppress women.

If you have ever thought "hmmm Maybe rapists that decide one day they 'feel like a woman' shouldn't be placed in female prisons" then by TRA standards you are a big ol' TERF.

If you believe that men in dresses, that want to have sex with real women are not lesbians, then you’re a TERF, according to the #nodebate brigade.

On those examples I'm 100% a terf then.

Although I don't understand some of the abbreviations, I now understand what a TERF is.

I am a TERF or as GinandSonic said "A big ol' TERF".

TERF basically means anyone who believes biology is real, these days. Do you believe lesbians have a right to be attracted to only female people, seems a good benchmark too.

The acronym stands for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist although in reality the majority of women who are called TERFs have probably never read a rad fem book or done any kind of activism in their lives. It's just that the rad fem view on all this nonsense happens to align with how most rational people feel.

I’m so cross because I couldn’t get the English Times with that wonderful article. I wanted to, coincidentally of course 😇 leave it lying on the worktop, opened at that page. My oldest is a night bird and reads anything so would have had a nosy, if I was out of the room. I will peaktrans him if it fucking kills me, dammit! 😠

I'm very comfortable with being labelled a TERF. I would be embarrassed to be anything else tbh.
Incidentally the Christian Institute - with which organisation I generally have few points of agreement - is also v definitely TERF in this regard. Which I think would quite surprise their members
