I think you need to explain what you mean.

I'm guessing that you're referring to the tax on sanitary products being used to fund women's charities, and instead it's being used to fund charities which aren't just about women's issues?

Do you have any evidence that this charity is using the money for this specific campaign?

I guess it’s fact that it says on the page that this is where some funding comes from means the OP has made a correct assumption. Their other training events don’t mention the tampon tax fund.

It says on that page that it is funded by the Tampon Tax Fund. If you open the leaflet about the training it is also listed on there so they are definitely referring to this particular training being funded by the Tampon Tax, not the organisation generally:

This is the govt criteria for applying for funds from the tampon tax, for 2018-19:

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachmentdata/file/668464/TamponnTaxFundd2018-19--GuidanceforrApplicants_v.3.pdf

I guess the justification would be that this is (partly) aimed at lesbians, bisexual women and gender non conforming women, and is a public health campaign.

I think I'd need to see the resources or the course content, to see what the message being given out about gender roles and stereotypes was.

I don't really have an issue with money from that going to fund sexual health stuff for LGBT+ youth.

Yeah not a problem at all for me.

1000000% fucked off they used some of the tampon tax money for a prolife group though the total utter snidey bastards.

UpstartCrow · 30/01/2018 16:34

I am fucked off we are taxed on sanpro, still, let alone they use that tax for anything other than charities for women and girls.

Such as girls who cant afford sanpro.

Tampon tax is not equality.
