In a way, trans age is more legitimate than transgender, because everyone has actually been 6 years old at some point do they have some point of reference as to what it's like. Unlike saying you feel like a woman/man when you have never actually been a woman/man.

I posted about this issue (not this story, but I had seen the story) yesterday on the below thread. Specifically, there was a movement in the 70s & 80s to entirely remove the age of consent on the basis that children should be free to have sex. All led by men, they were basically piggybacking on the newly granted freedoms & legal protection for homosexuals.

We already have people who identify as trans-species, & have had surgery to help them move closer to how they feel.

Thehairthebod - I don't think anyone would reasonably argue that many 6 year olds are sexual beings though. Generally, anyone of that age who demonstrates sexualised behaviour, is believed to have witnessed it from others, or themselves been assaulted. It's not inherent at that age; therefore not a legitimate defence in this case.

Any grown adult who wants to dress in children's clothes & play with dolls etc, fine. Interesting choice perhaps, but it's their choice. This guy is a sex predator & his defence would be laughable if it weren't so disgusting.

This is true, but you can't permanently identify as a six year old girl, because obviously even six year old girls get older and then aren't six any more.

Well it had to happen. The insanity and danger of the identity cult. What infuriates me though is how trans age and trans racial are jumped on as the bollocks they are, but transgender is being utterly embraced. Because it has successfully piggybacked itself onto the concept of homosexuality.

Yes sorry I should have clarified, I didn't means 'trans age' in this case as a defence for sexual abuse, I just mean 'trans age' as a concept.

Obviously I don't think 'trans age' is actually a thing, but it is interesting to compare it to transgenderism as this universal, objective, unquestionable fact.

Yes, this is what I thought - unless he is claiming it was the sort of 'experimenting' that young kids do sometimes, doctors and nurses, that kind of thing?

Anyhow, it's completely fucked up and presumably the court will see through this total bullshit and send him to prison.

Yes, and even if he was interested in it for whatever reason, it still wouldn't be ok.

At some point we have a right to expect people to begin to recognize predators and their deceptions, and safeguard the public from them instead of demanding that the public embrace the deceptions.
