Are all women's issues transphobic?

Been reading that mentioning periods, uteri, is transphobic.

Been reading that helping more women into politics is transphobic.

Been reading that being a lesbian is transphobic.

Been reading that wanting girls sports to be girls sports is transphobic.

Been reading that female only toilets and changing rooms are
transphobic.

Is there actually ANY woman's issue that they don't label transphobic?

At this point it seems like by TRA definitions women are transphobic. As in, the fact that we exist. We should really stop that, it's very offensive to trans people.

It would appear that anything involving biology is transphobic OnLiamsList which of course just happens to be the reason that female humans are oppressed...

NotTerfNorCis · 27/01/2018 11:44

It would be good to collect screenshots of all these 'transphobic' accusations and store them somewhere accessible. Then the press can use it.

LangCleg · 27/01/2018 11:44

I agree with Kittens. It isn't that women's issues are transphobic according to current transactivism - it's that women themselves are, simply by trying to assert that they even exist.

guardianfree · 27/01/2018 11:50

Yup - the definition of 'transphobia' seems to include 'anything I don't like hearing'. And now that Labour party politicians are embracing this with such zeal , we can expect to see the targeting of women increasing.

CeeBeeBee · 27/01/2018 11:53

Seems like it.
Wonder Woman - Transphobic because apparently some women have penises.
FGM - Transphobic because some (trans) women will never have the privilege of FGM.
Smear tests- Transphobic.....
and it goes on. Anything women related has to be transphobic. I despair.

I suspect that the core population of transgender individuals are aware that women have been good allies to them. I have no doubt that transgender individuals have appreciated the honour system which gave them access to women's spaces and services on a committed, post-op basis - and that they will be mortified by this turn of events. Speaking for myself, I have only sympathy for their position and wish them the ability to have a comfortable and happy life in peace.

It is a small band of vocal activists - many male and NOT transgender - who are currently attacking the hard won rights of women. It seems clear that this minority despise women.

I don't imagine there would be any biological female issue which would not be "transphobic" under the current terminology. "Transphobic" seems to have become shorthand for "this makes me uncomfortable, shut up". These activists find women a bit too human, too real, too "meaty", I'm afraid. Too much National Geographic, not enough Playboy. They would be much more comfortable if we would tottle off to our birthing, menstruation and fistula expulsion huts and STFU about our supremely unattractive life matters.

It’s because the people making these comments are young, trying to find their place in the world and very naive. So they make a space for themselves by clearing away and blocking out anything that troubles them even a bit.

It is the ultimate in snowflakery.

A whole generation who have had every issue cleared from their path are no making up things that oppress them so that they have something to campaign for.

I have not yet seen a single genuine trans-sexual person involved in any of this.

There was one in that Labour against Transphobia group but she was ejected after about a week. I think they must have found out that she has had sex change surgery many years ago and has been 'living as a woman' for ages. Note I am happy to call her a woman.

Most of these activists are teenagers, students, and young men up for making fun, as that cohort of youngsters always have done.

What is new in all this is that the mischief makers are dictating government policy.
