Which party are they from? The first couple of paras are the usual cut and paste worthiness, the last paragraph is the one we need to go with.

But at the moment on Twitter, Labour local groups are declaring self ID makes men women, and at least one politician is involved in the secret group.

Mine was from labour mp greater manchetser and it was a pile of shite...
Basically shut up and put up I will continue to fight for the rights of those who wish to self identify... I was actually so pissed off I put it in the bin

I don't want to say which party as I'm optimistic enough to think potential ally.

Dismissive and patronising. Email his counterparts who would challenge the seat.

You could explain they have misunderstood the effect of the GRA, and that it will overwrite, for example, the rights of Muslim women to a women only toilet, or the right of women to ask for female medical staff ro women only hospital wards. As is already happening.

I'm happy to do that. I suspect their response could be worse though. Do I just contact main opposition or all the parties?

I've tried to meet, aide got back to me, they don't want to meet until they've received their response. I'm happy to write again, I asked a lot of questions in my original letter but know I completely forgot to cover sports. Do I write again now or wait until I get my next response?

All of 'em. If they don't hear from anyone they wont realise there's any opposition.
