Feminist groups

I would like to get more actively involved in feminism
To that end I joined the FB group Shipley Feminist Zealots
The first post was asking people not to donate to the all women fundraiser. My heart sank
I did admit to donating and got a lot of trans women are women comments but nobody could tell me why they are women. I was accused of goading by even asking what makes them a woman
I find it so depressing that a group of feminists cannot see what a woman is or recognise sex discrimination

No real suggestions, OP. As far as I can see, unless you actively seek out a rad fem group, this is quite likely to be your experience. Yet weirdly, whenever the subject cautiously gets broached in everyday conversation, pretty much every woman I know is gender critical. (The openings of the conversations are always so funny... a cautious "I'm all for equal rights, but transwomen in... rugby/women's prisons/on rape crisis helplines..." then off the conversation goes).

So you need FB group suggestions?
