A 28 year old woman was yesterday murdered as she worked her shift in Southport towns TUI travel agents branch.
The police have arrested a 30 year old male in what they have described as a suspected domestic incident.
Rest in peace Cassie Hayes.
When will this regular, horrific killing of women by know males ever end and why is more not being done about it? What can we do?

Horrifying. But not sure what can be done.

Cassie Hayes was brutally murdered in front of her colleagues and customers. I really wouldn't class this as a 'domestic incident'. Horrific murder is more relevant. I think it's about time that the phrase' 'domestic incident' was dropped. It serves no purpose other than to lessen the horrifying nature of the murder.

Why the constant minimising. "Suspected domestic incident" sounds like what they'd call.a fight on Jeremy Kyle.

She died. Ffs. She was murdered.

Sweet dreams cassie FlowersStar

My thoughts are with her family

It's seriously shocking but at the same time, commonplace.

There is a thread in relationships at the moment where a woman has had her husband strangling her in front of the kids.

2 women a week are murdered in the UK. Mostly 'domestic' incidents. So that's alright then, because it's not random strangers doing the murdering
