Thanks exexpat.
I note that the petition takes particular aim at the chair of the meeting, Raquel Rosario Sanchez, and seems designed to threaten her position at Bristol University's Gender and Violence Research Centre, where she is a PhD Candidate.
Readers of Feminist Current will know of Sanchez's work in the Dominican Republic for abortion rights and against femicide, and as part of the broader Latin American feminist movement.

It's just repellent that people covering themselves in the mantle of 'intersectional feminism' would try to have someone like Sanchez ousted from her university and shut down her vital work for women and girls' human rights in Latin America. All because they are offended that some mere females dare to question men's sacred 'gender identities'.
Words can't convey the disgust I feel towards these sociopathic, authoritarian, patriarchal cultists who have the gall to call themselves 'feminists'.
