What a brilliant start to 2018:

This actually made me cry. Stephanie - thank you for everything that you are doing. Flowers

Excellent round up of the years events, its too easy to feel like a lone voice in the wilderness among all the hate and shouting.

I might also have to renew my sub to Private Eye.

LangCleg · 31/12/2017 16:40

Stephanie is indefatigable. And I genuinely think inroads are beginning to be made with regards to public awareness about ROGD, especially in girls.

guardianfree · 31/12/2017 16:43

The round up also highlights so many brave and courageous women and men who are standing up and being counted. Brilliant that it's all in one place.

Amazing and brave article

Stopmakingsense · 31/12/2017 17:21

She is a star - she needs a place on the Honours List !

colouringinagain · 31/12/2017 17:40

Very good article. Here's to a better 2018.

SophoclesTheFox · 31/12/2017 17:47

Oh that's brilliant Smile Well done Stephanie and all at transgendertrend.

When I was reading through it, I suddenly jumped up like I'd been electrocuted and started shrieking, because a family member is on the list of journalists deserving a mention, and it had totally passed me by that he is gender critical! I will drop him a line in the New Year, bigot to bigot Grin

As well as that lovely surprise, it was a very heartening article to read, because the tide is turning, and we're not lone voices in the wilderness. Loved the shout out to Mumsnet - where I learned to feminist again.

Datun · 31/12/2017 17:52

She is absolutely amazing. Kind, courteous and relentless in her pursuit of justice for children.

Listing all the things that women have done is humbling.

But it's scandalous that women have to do this much to even be listened to.

Nineteenagain · 31/12/2017 22:10

Brilliant!

irretating · 31/12/2017 23:08

That article has given me hope, and so many new people to read and follow!

whitehandledkitchenknife · 31/12/2017 23:50

I'm having trouble opening the link but I have no doubt that SDA has been one of the most influential voices for me this year.

Thank you Stephanie for all that you do.

Xenophile · 01/01/2018 00:01

SDA is bloody amazing, and a proper laugh to boot, I love her.

Thermostatpolice · 01/01/2018 11:47

whitehandled I can't access transgender trend either. Am currently outside the UK and wondering whether it's blocked for some reason?

Are you in the UK?

NotAgainYoda · 01/01/2018 11:51

Great article. Reasons to be hopeful

MacaroonMama · 01/01/2018 12:07

This is so heartening. Well done everyone. Do we need a new 'action plan' thread? Or a NY Feminiat resolutions? I pledge to:
Finish letters to friends'/relatives' MPs so friends and relatives can sign and send them.

HeatedCatFurniture · 01/01/2018 12:34

I can't access the site either, through the link or through google. Am assuming it's just my ancient phone and not something more sinister.

HermioneWeasley · 01/01/2018 12:37

She’s a tireless campaigner. A Proper shero

boldlygoingsomewhere · 01/01/2018 13:02

I can't access the site either - am in the UK.

whitehandledkitchenknife · 01/01/2018 13:47

Thermostatpolice I'm in the UK. Have tried all manner of search ways, on laptop and phone.
No joy.

guardianfree · 01/01/2018 13:51

I've just checked and the site is still up. Just wondering whether you have a 'net nanny ' that might be restricting access? Just a thought?

OP posts:
Mortagemoans · 01/01/2018 13:53

Can't open it!

Mortagemoans · 01/01/2018 13:57

I've been on the site loads of times before really frustrating!!

PinkSquash · 01/01/2018 13:59

Excellent article, it's great to see all the people who are fighting for women. Lots on there who I didn't realise either. Brilliant!

whitehandledkitchenknife · 01/01/2018 13:59

Net nanny? Some kind of filter, I'm guessing. No, no longer needed!Guardian

When I tried last night , I thought maybe it was due to lots of traffic, but still getting server not responding message today.

Ereshkigal · 01/01/2018 18:59

I had the same problem. Managed to get on by turning off wifi.
