There's a bit of controversy on Twitter because 'Women's Hour' have asked Bergdoff to talk about the consequences of speaking out on difficult subjects.

The thing is though, I actually really like Bergdoff! I think they have made a lot of good points on various issues, and I do like that they say what they really think. I do agree that they should be on 'Women's Hour' as a woman, but it is the producers that are at fault here, not Bergdoff.

He is at fault for agreeing to speak in place of a woman. Obviously the producers are worse for inviting him, but he should have declined.

Personally I would not give Bergdoff the time of day on anything except possibly make up and fashion.

BigGreenOlives · 26/12/2017 20:38

I thought it was interesting that they kept retweeting it & very few people commented or liked the tweets.

SexualTyrannosaurus · 26/12/2017 20:42

Is that the obnoxious bloke that insisted on using the N word on tv the day? Another attention seekerHmm

guardianfree · 26/12/2017 21:03

Because of course Woman's Hour could never find a woman to talk about the consequences of speaking out on difficult subjects Confused

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 26/12/2017 21:30

I am sure they will invite a transman when they are talking about men's issues, right? Right?

I just googled this person and they’re some controversy around Lewis Hamilton comments during a video he posted of his young nephew dressed as a princess.

Monroes response is rather interesting Hmm

To anybody outraged by @Lewishamilton's behavior towards his nephew. Please put your money where your mouth is donate to @Mermaids_Gender. Remember that being outraged by something doesn't change anything. Actively supporting a charity that helps gender diverse kids, DOES.

hingedspeculum · 26/12/2017 22:14

Munroe's pinned tweet, with the Lewis Hamilton one currently directly below it is: "Don't let other people define you".

Like you mate, defining a 3 year old boy wearing a princess dress as "gender diverse"..
