I got this book from my BIL+SIL yesterday. Written by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It started as a letter written to a friend of hers about raising a daughter to be a feminist.
I have DD 4months and so excited to get stuck into it - probably the best gift of the day! Has anyone here read it?

Haven’t read it but you’ve inspired me to seek out a copy. Thank you! Smile

I've read it - it's wonderful! I've lent it to a colleague and will probably buy copies for other people who I feel would get something out of it.

Oh I'll order that, thanks!

MissBax · 26/12/2017 09:48

Excellent - maybe we could discuss it in a few weeks/month?

I’d love to do that. I always want to chat to other people about a book I’ve just read, whether I loved it or hated it.

Watch this space...

I've just finished it, it was excellent!! Has anyone else read it yet??

Should have a copy tomorrow or the next day!

MissBax · 11/01/2018 00:06

Excellent Amethyst, I read it in one sitting! Let me know when you have :)

Finished! What did you think? What stood out for you, and did you disagree with anything?

It's currently in the downstairs loo. I love reading a little bit here or there.
