I’m wondering if anyone is in Mhairi Black’s constituency. She would potentially be a great person to get on board with raising awareness of the problems of self id, and does seem to be on the side of women thinking of her work to date.
I think if we could get a strong voice likes her’s to speak out it could really make a difference. She would be a great person to try to meet with but I’m not in her constituency (nowhere near it) or I would do it myself
Any takers??

MPs defy the whip all the time. Ken Clarke being a very fine example when it comes to Brexit - other Tories have followed suit.

I like Black, I think she is a better public speaker in the HoC than a lot of other MPs twice/triple her age. I don't like the SNP. On that we can agree Lass

I don't understand this. A vote in the polling booth is private. Or was this in the Houses of Parliament? Or Holyrood? Or both?

In the Brexit referendum. She is on record as saying she voted Remain despite not being in favour of remain.

She's SNP. It's highly unusual for an SNP member to go against the whip.

SNP mps and msps never defy the whip. Mps like Margo MacDonald who do leave the party.
