Yes, twitter's rules appear to be "TERF, die in a fire having first been raped by my lady dick" = perfectly acceptable example of free speech, "transwomen retain male biology" = hate speech.

But they have done the right thing suspending the Britain First twunts - just goes to show even a stopped clock can be right twice a day.

They first removed BNP accounts, now we're onto woman stating biological facts.

Twitter is a fucking cesspit that takes no responsibility for anything, I've barely been back on there five minutes and I've attracted five paedophile accounts, no option for them under report.

The Twitter purge is going to be problematic, because different countries have different laws. For example, where gender self ID is legal, you can't say that a woman doesn't have a penis. In some countries being gay carries the death penalty. The US has freedom of speech, the UK doesn't and hate speech can be prosecuted

I dont know how they're going to manage it, but its likely that purges will largely depend on mass reporting and web bots. Thats unlikely to be accurate.

No, they didn't like it, when I was saying this on twitter and I kept being asked
"What is wrong with you, why do you hate men?"

And I tried to explain to them, I didn't hate men but I was just focusing on what happened to females in men's history.

I’m not a fan of hate speech, but this is very dangerous and will inevitable lead to no platforming everyone with a different view.

I’m totally behind removing threats. But concepts and ideas? However unpalatable. Sounds dodgy.

I should imagine it’s very difficult to police. If you rely on certain keywords and mass reporting.

Loads of Facebook pages have been shut down because of mass reporting, not content.
