I'm scared to ask why this is wrong but trans is ok

A fairly well known person I follow has posted this on Facebook and the comments are full of how wrong it is and how angry they all are.

I'm scared to ask why this is wrong but they think trans is ok (I know they think this) but I really want to know.

Is anyone brave enough to post a public discussion on this somewhere so I can join in?

I’ve asked US friends about this. I think the understanding is different in the USA because of the awful history of slavery and the unresolved deep deep racism in the US.

I can see how there’s be unease about Ms. Dolezal, although it’s also clear that transwomen are being given a free pass - perhaps because we don’t take the structural discrimination against women as a class as seriously as that of racism.
