Amber was a 23 yo porn star.
She refused to have sex with a male actor who was known to star in gay porn and have sex with men.
Her reasons were safety. She did not want to risk her own health and did not trust the sexual health of the man.

She was bullied on social media.
She was called homophobic a 1000 times over. It was relentless.

This woman was being told that her choice regarding who she has sex with was wrong. Her reasons not good enough.

It seems body autonomy does not come above hurt feelz.

I cannot bring myself to type some of the tweets she recieved. They are vile and rejoycing her death.

Why are women forced to give reasons when they dont want to have sex?
I doubt if a man had said no to sex with a gay porn star he would have met with such abuse.

Awful - and so many problems here. There's the expectation that she should allow herself to be raped by someone she did not want to have sex with. I believe that she was told to kill herself too.

Tweets have been deleted but there are screenshots. I hope that several individuals go to prison for a very long time over this.

The tweets I have seen did say apologise or kill yourself.

It does show that women do not have the right to choose.
The focus of these bullies is not her body autonomy but the fact they did not like her reason.

I dont think she was mentally well and her industry is not known to be healthy for women. I think the abuse she recieved pushed her over the edge.

Horrible story, poor woman. But the fact that the link is Fox News makes me think there may have been more to it (they are not, after all, known for their support of women.)

Her death is now being pinned on "feminists" by some including Katy Hopkins. But actually a lot of the vitriol thrown at her came from the LGBT community.

But why blame trans when you can blame feminists?

What's more telling, the whole "solidarity with Lily" brigade is very quiet about this. When their own bully, it's ignored. When someone questions Lily, it is vicious abuse.

This makes me feel sick. I'm completely horrified that this woman was criticised and has justify her right to chose who she had sex with, for whatever reason.

Just because she's a porn actress doesn't mean she's morally obliged to fuck anybody who asks.

I had a twitter debate argument with somebody called Hope who put the feelings of Ambers co-workers above Ambers own life.
Apparently body autonomy does not vount if you are porn star or mens feelings are at risk.

The tweets I saw were all from other porn actors; and they were awful. I think there was one person not attacking her.

I saw loads saying tripe that if you don't want to have sex with gay men you are homophobic, same if you exclude partners of a different race.

I don't imagine she was homophobic but when it comes to who you have sex with it is the one area everyone gets a free pass to be as bigoted as they like.
