Is this reductionist and I am thick

It seems to me that there is a easy way to make safe space for everyone.

Have spaces and facilities for people with vaginas, and spaces and facilities for people with penises. And then also have spaces and facilities for those who feel they can't access the places matched to their biological sex due to their gender identity.

I'm talking about changing rooms and loos specifically, the trans women in female job roles is a whole other ballgame.

It probably is a lot bit reductionist. But it also seems to me a lot of people don't actually want safe spaces, they just want to eradicate ours.

Thoughts please?

Who is going to pay for all this. Maybe some shops will do it.

Public facilities - toilets , prisons, hospital wards - no way.

Groups that work for accessibility for disabled people have been working very hard for decades and things are still not great. Facilities for parents are also often not great. Plus of course the whole thing about older buildings and in general there not being enough toilets for women. This is a genuine issue as we have different needs, women who are pregnant and elderly women (ie lots of women) can and do have their access to the "outside world" limited by a lack of toilet facilities. Around the world this is a big issue - international toilet day (or something) was the other day and was a lot about how lack of facilities for women and girls restricts lives.

Plus you're right the TAs don't want separate facilities they want male and female and then to choose.

Yup great point vertical blinds.

It's always girls and women who have to suck it up though

Yes many examples on the net of signage being changed so there are still two sets of facilities, one for men and one for "all genders".

Fuxake.

Jesus. That is proper eradication.

It also doesn't make sense as the queues for the ladies are already awful.

I foresee men going for lengthy shits in the ladies and being very smug about it.

It seems to be about validation of their 'female identity' so invasion of women's spaces is the ultimate goal, not simply getting away from the men because they are dangerous to them.
