The posts shown in this blog are some of the most telling and infuriating comments from MTF people I've seen yet:

It's one thing to read how some of them get physically aroused when passing as a woman or being referred to with female pronouns. Or how angry natal women make them. But this? This is so telling and they don't even realise it.

If their opinion of women is so low - if we are all such fucking idiots - why do they want to be women? (That's a rhetorical question,I know why!)

Well, that didn't calm me down for my afternoon's coding at all.....

Fuckers.

I don't see how someone who comes out with stuff like this can deny their male priveledge. It seems like losing the reassurance that male = good at things and female = ditzy and vapid, and buying into damaging stereotypes of women.

It makes me very very angry

Could it be any more obvious that they think that women can't code, drive, be spatially aware, understand money or be funny?

And is it NOT HRT. I can't even tell you how much this upsets me- as someone who after a lifetime of issues with my reproductive system, hit the menopause and had to go on HRT aged forty-fucking-two. Call it hormonal therapy if you must, but FUCK OFF with the appropriation. We have nothing in common on this. NOTHING. You're just using what you think are women-words, with not one inkling of what they actually mean for women.

God, this has tipped me over the edge today. Argh.

Those have got to be spoofs, Harry Enfield "Women, know your place!" type parodies, surely? Surely??

I've read a lot of that sort of stuff before - it's amazing how little understanding of women this TIMs have.

Bloody hell! And Ginger wtf!!

I must, after all these years of thinking I am female, be a man. Certainly by the standards described in these links. I'm going to have to work hard on a disney princess mentality, lose my libido and the ability to reverse park on a sixpence sharpish if I am ever going to be able to 'pass' as a woman again.

Thank god we have these enlightened opinions to put us back onto the right path!

Providing sources and links would give the claims credibility, otherwise it could be just propaganda and I am not buying into to unsubstantiated claims from either 'side'.

That blogpost is a mess Ginger as RagingFeminist says it's almost parody. I don't think the author knows what they're trying to say. On the one hand they are fetishising (Is that a word?) Post op Transgender Women by by saying how wild they are in bed, on the other hand they shouldn't be treated as porn actors. Also 'It helps to be at least bisexual' is both ridiculously stupid and really homophobic. When did it become so shameful to be gay that people would prefer to medically and surgically alter themselves so drastically, and then normalise it?

Wow, this is only the second trans thread I've commented on, there's a few things over the last few weeks that have made me think more about this and now the thoughts are flowing out!

Tammy I just read that blog, how can someone with such low regard and understanding of womanhood profess to want to be women.
