Huge trans convention with workshops, including ‘how to get into trans porn’ and ‘show and tell SRS results’

This person is not doing the movement any favours, talking about seeing born women and being jealous of their little hands because they’d give better handjobs

The part about having people on stage ‘spreading themselves wide open’ just sounds mad - I get that being honest about the results of surgery is probably a good thing but to get on stage and do that is dehumanising!

Look, if you want to go to a convention where it’s all about genitalia, then knock yourself out (although it’s still bloody exploitative).

That's a travestied version of womanhood. Like an episode of Southpark acted by the Mean Girls. "Tits", "pussies", "farting is so funny". Not a great representation of any adult IMO.

Here’s women trying to highlight sexual assault and male aggression with #metoo and a bunch of men are holding a convention where they all show each other their new ‘female’ genitalia. And how cool it all is.

Asking people to believe that these men are women is incredibly damaging to women.

Was too annoying to watch all of it. But I do wonder why can't he just be a camp gay man with a boyfriend? As I assume his boyfriend is gay. Why become a poor facsimile of a woman, take potentially damaging drugs, mutilate his perfectly healthy body?

Why is it all of a sudden so bad to just be gay? It seems dishonest.

As much as I feel I've got from the amazingly articulate women on here, sometimes I wonder if my life would be easier if I was still a third wave feminist - it's all so fucked.

Datun, yes, depressing. However the general public are at least being told some factual truths about this movement. I am cautiously optimistic, I don't think it's timely enough to to stop the GRA amendments (which is awful) but I do think that people are waking up to what is going on and as such there will be a wider swell of support in opposing the practical application. I can but hope.

I've 'radicalised', or rather educated my DP, my DD, my 24 year old step-daughter, my good feel friend and another friend and her daughter about this is recent weeks.

My step-daughter is a year out of uni and( after watching youtubers and read articles about the whole TRA stuff that I recommended) told me that at uni she felt she didn't have a voice to challenge it although she wasn't comfortable with much of the dogma. She said that it's a relief to hear stuff that allows her to disagree.

We do this one step at at a time. It's all we have unfortunately.

I want to go to a trans convention! Undercover repoter stylee, of course. I'll dress in a manly way so no-one questions my gender identity (or lack thereof).

Seriously, if they're happy to be so blatent, surely there's lots of interesting material there that the wider world would be interested in? Could we have a coordinated evidence-gathering mission?

I'm definitely up for evidence gathering - I've been saving some threads on here and screenshots of abusive things but a direction would help!
