Warders – wearing full-body protective clothing, including helmet, visor, and gloves, and carrying 4ft by 2ft Plexiglass shields amid fears that Scott was armed with a medical cannula she had ripped from her body during hospital treatment – had to burst into her cell to save his life."

Deliberately trying to make women search him against their will seems quite a calculated act.

Please tell me he has no chance of being indulged when he demands to transfer to a women’s prison?

He is obviously a deeply disturbed individual.

But he's also trying to cause as much trouble as possible for the prison service as he can. Changing his name repeatedly, now claiming to be trans. He previously claimed to be Jewish to get kosher food and led a massive prison revolt over it which caused chaos.

He's been 'at war' with the system for years.

People and the prison service get stuck in these cycles which damage everyone involved but when you are serving an indeterminate prison sentence you don't have a lot to lose and you have plenty of time to think up the next way you can cause as much chaos as possible. He hates the prison service, they hate him and round and round it goes.

Nah. He’s a man who claims to be transgender AND is also severely mentally ill and dangerous. He’s no more or less transgender than gentle Susan who works in accounts or Caitlin Jenner or any other fucker. Transgender is a subjective reality with no objective test.

I pity the staff who have to deal with him, they should get danger pay.

While I agree that he is likely to be mentally ill, I have to agree that his behaviour exposes the dangers of self identification that women are repeatedly criticised for stating. And yes, according to transgender activists, if he says he's transgender then he must be treated as such. Those poor female officers. I hope that their Union is on their side.

This is a previous article about Burns. He isnt 'taking the piss out of transgender people', I doubt he even thinks about them. His conduct is not aimed at trans people but at the staff who have to deal with him - he regularly attacks women.

Burns has as much right to decide he is transgender as anyone else, since there are no laws preventing violent offenders from changing their gender or name.

To be considered for Broadmoor he would have to present as a grave and immediate danger to others. Sounds like he is troubled but not significantly risky to others.

Not in Broadmoor because he's in Scotland (amongst other things). Scotland has its own high security hospital at Carstairs. Even in England Broadmoor isn't the only high security psychiatric hospital. Ashworth and Rampton are the others.

But FFS, who told those poor female warders to strip search a dangerous, violent man who was suspected of secreting weapons? And how on earth did we get to the point that this was even allowed? A point where they felt obliged to grit their teeth and perform a search rather than immediately refuse? Some transactivists should be ashamed of themselves. This is all to do with a massive shift in the prevailing culture which disadvantages women. Absolutely disgraceful.
