Yeah, it's bizarre. I was at an event about reproductive rights recently ..all of these campaigns have been hijacked by trans people of both sexes and who want to centre themselves and police the language and it's caused real division. I don't understand why a MTT feels the need to put themselves forward and talk about abortion rights and compare it to their right to modify their body. And I don't understand why a FTT has to do the same thing, especially when she is an entirely female bodied and presenting person but we are expected to believe she is male and therefore men can get pregnant too. It feels like a massive bad fucking joke

Because so many transactivists are misogynistic narcissists and they are deliberately making a point of taking control of every single female centred organisation. Transmen sadly are guilt tripped into believing that transwomen have it harder so support them as a cause.

Transmen understand the biology involved, which is partly the reason they become trans in the first place. Naturally, they will have sympathy for a transwoman who is never going to have the biological responses with onset puberty that a woman has, just as they, transmen, are never going to be having wet dreams with an erection.

I guess you're right, the person I'm thinking of is a classic late transitioning AGP who fixates on clothes, make-up and being fawned on by women who find him "brave and stunning". I don't wish him any ill, just wish he'd back the fuck off. I've never had an abortion but if I had, I'd want to talk to other women about it, not some very obvious male with a fetish.
