A personal tragedy but also another statistic becoming nonsense

The tragic death of a woman - recorded as misadventure. It reads to me as the tragic death of a man for sexual kicks.

I wonder how many similar cases are recorded for natal women acting alone? Not many. But this case will now bump up those numbers. Statistics showing genuine differences between the sexes are going to become meaningless unless people wake up.

By all means support those with gender dysphoria - in fact, please do, it must be horrific to live with. But don't start recording men as women, they cannot be, whatever they do to their bodies or lifestyles.

This concerns me, too. It's particularly bad when statistics on violence are recorded - women are far less likely than men to commit violent crimes, as we know, but stats are skewed when natal men are recorded as female perpetrators.

When I studied forensic medicine moons ago there were zero recorded incidences of women dying by autoerotic asphyxiation in the UK and a handful of men each year, usually dressed in women's underwear.

Now however women do it too. Apparently.

Going to make future crime stats even more interesting

Now that the rate of women doing this is increasing...lots of future 'accidents' between female and male sexual partners whose ' game' gets out of control
