The good thing about allowing children to express their own feelings regarding gender is that it gives them freedom to explore stuff without making major commitments they are not yet ready for. Being given oestrogen tablets by a misguided parent is scary stuff. There is a reason we have gender clinics for children and that's because they know many children will change their minds as they grow.

I don't blame the mother at all, when there is a dominant medical and media narrative of "you child is trans, they must transition or they will kill themselves!" it must be terrifying to be faced with a child questioning their gender and feeling suicidal.
Add onto that the fact that doctors like Kenneth Zucker are being labelled as practicing "conversion therapy" for taking a watch and wait approach, means it is very difficult to find doctors who aren't suggesting treatment by transition.
I hope he does OK now. Very sad story.

Yeah, the so-called professionals are all pro-genderism. Every voice against genderism is silenced.

These days, I suppose it'd be easier to be anti-vaccination than to be anti-transing-of-children. You get more hate for the latter. And you have to make up your mind to disagree with the alleged experts. Most people just obey the doctor, be it vaccinations or sterilizing children.

I do think the mother was all too willing to do things that were illegal in her country, but we don't know how much the boy threatened suicide.

However, the mother's declaration that she has no regrets ... I don't know, most people would have regrets after making a wrong decision even if they were under extreme pressure to make that wrong decision.
But the fact that she's now willing to pay for having his manboobs removed in a different country, because in Australia no one would be willing to do it on a 14 year old, seems to prove she has learnt nothing. (The article doesn't say that he's threatening suicide if she doesn't do that, so there's that. If he's just wearing baggy clothes and doesn't want to do sports, well, welcome in the life of almost every teen girl, buy a sports bra and deal with it.)

You don't give children medicaton that you have been prescribed for your own use. Full stop. That is endangering their health.

That's how people who unthinkingly go along with genderism think. They cannot differentiate between good and bad by themselves. They just do what those in power tell them to do.

I mean, how else could you look at trans making their rape and murder threats at radical feminists, nod, and say: "Oh, those evil terfs must have done something to deserve it"

(Also, I once saw a tumblr post where someone said "I don't have to read anything about the nazis to know that they were evil!" in what I assume was a transwacktivism context where this person was asked to read up about radical feminism before believing it evil. Those people literally don't want to think for themselves.)
