Is anyone doing the Edinburgh Festival?

I saw Hannah Gadsby at the weekend and was absolutely blown away. I have never seen a performer take a room from laughing to absolute hear-a-pin-drop silence in literally one sentence. She was amazing, feminist as fuck, angry, and brilliant. Highly recommend.

Anyone else there/planning to go/would like to share some recs?

I'm doing loads on the official Festival and will do Fringe once the reviews start coming out. That doesn't sound one for me as I don't particularly enjoy (actually not at all) stand up routines.

Oddly I was going to jokingly ask if Wagner was a secret feminist as it struck me at last night's performance of Die Walküre that there are 11 female parts and only 3 male and at least half of the third act only has female singers ( 8 Valkyries, Brunhilde and Sieglinde)
