I had to laugh at myself here. I saw cisfood trending on twitter this morning. I though oh my good god what fresh hell is this? Are there now cis foods and trans foods? What have we come to...

Nope - cis stood for children in Scotland - a lovely hashtag about feeding hungry kids!!

So it could be worse and more crazy than it actually is.

Now I'm thinking of "trans fats", which I think are bad for you. Well, they would be.

Just shows how completely nutty your head can go! I genuinely thought there was a whole thing around 'cis' foods!

Yeah, well, the German minister of agriculture (I think) has launched a campaign against soy sausages, claiming they were a deception of consumers, who according to him would expect anything labeled sausage to contain meat.

I suppose, if the vegetarians had ANY interest in deceiving people, they'd be talking of meat and "cis meat" and "soy meat" as categories of meat.

How about cismilk and ciseggs? Because noone actually asked them how they identified. Both the dairy industry and the egg industry are quite transphobic really. They're making massive assumptions about whether the animals are comfortable with being forced into feminine female roles
