Big fat "Meh" from me I'm afraid.
They are soft pram shoes for babies not yet walking.
Not to my taste but they do no harm

Well they won't harm the baby's feet as they are soft shoes, but they are symptomatic of this obsession with genderising and sexualising what babies and girls look like.

They are ridiculous looking however some parents like their girls looking girly they are no worse that bows on babies or frily hats

The picture on the BBC website looks like a raddled old Hollywood has-been! Hardly a good look.

And, yes, high heels are about sex. They mimic the arched foot position common in arousal, and arch the lower back and hips into an arousal position.

Not these shoes, obviously!

It reminds me of when people dress up their dogs at Halloween. That second picture is grim.

So I'm guessing you haven't seen the bow glue yet? Where you can actually glue a bow on your babies head when there isn't enough hair to clip it in
