Just wauw.... There's so much in this article it's hard to know where to start... Uplifting dmab voices... Amongst so many others.. Well worth a read and a share, these are the voices that are being drowned out be wild of transphobe and terf and being denied

And before anyone lights on me for bring transphobic for sharing, I'm pro choice, people should be allowed to do whatever they like with heir bodies and identify however they like but there is a serious issue here with children not being allowed to question and explore their identity and being sucked into communities that exist to validate themselves at the expense of others

I HATE that phrase with a passion, and every time someone ascribes it to me I pull them up on it.

Nothing was pulled out of a hat when I was born. A coin wasn't flipped. Paper/rock/scissors wasn't the deciding factor. I wasn't 'assigned' female, as if there was any other possibility. My sex was correctly recorded at birth.

The terms afab and amab stem from the jargon used by health care professionals working with intersex individuals where babies can be assigned a sex at birth which is later revised. It's just another example of the transgender trope that claims sex is a spectrum rather than a binary, and that co-opts intersex to support this. Intersex people resent being dragged in to an argument that has nothing to do with them.
