Hi I'm just a man how is wondering what feminists really want?

What are you fighting for or against in this day and age?

Well I believe in equality leaveittothediva. I have a child with my ex. We both worked full time job and I done my fair share of the housework and taking care of my child tbh your point of view is quite sexist

This feminist would like some snacks. What am I fighting against in this day and age? Mostly rising damp. Is that satisfactory OP?

NameChange30 · 21/10/2016 23:03

" So are we just ment to guess where you feel you are being treated with inequality?"

Well, since there is no record anywhere of any feminists making any arguments about inequality - no books, websites, articles, blogs, campaigns, organisations, political parties, Mumsnet threads or anything - I suppose you are just going to have to guess.

Random question OP...if you were going to climb on the roof of a building, which super hero would you dress as?

You can have my dungarees and card but I'm keeping the ice cream

Nrdad1 · 21/10/2016 23:06

OP posts:
NameChange30 · 21/10/2016 23:07

I hate dungarees

IrenetheQuaint · 21/10/2016 23:07

Another Emma Grin

OP - why don't you make it your life's mission to cast light on this obscure and baffling subject. Maybe this will help you start off:

BIWI · 21/10/2016 23:09

I done my fair share

To add to my list:

For people to use correct grammar

Honestly "posters" I came on here and asked a reasonable question and the majority of post are just to take the piss. So if someone asks me what I feel women want for equality I'll just say chocolate

OP posts:
HoneyDragon · 21/10/2016 23:09

I don't work either. Dh paid for this ice cream.

thatstoast · 21/10/2016 23:10

Ooh, Deadpool would be neato.

HoneyDragon · 21/10/2016 23:10

Do people ask you what womankind want for equality a lot, op?

ageingrunner · 21/10/2016 23:13

No! I don't want chocolate. I want to low carb 😢

Nrdad1 · 21/10/2016 23:13

I've had conversation about equality for all from gender, religion and ethnicity yes Have you ever had a conversation about what men need for equality? Or is it just women you care about?

OP posts:
HillaryFTW · 21/10/2016 23:13

Ach, beat me to that question, Honey.

Someone might ask him one day. The universe will suffer heat death one day. I suspect the latter may come first.

BIWI · 21/10/2016 23:13

OK. I have gin. So now, OP, I'll take you seriously. You're asking what feminists want. Lots of us have told you what we want. You didn't, though, specify exactly what we want - i.e. you didn't ask why we're feminist, and what it is we feel is 'wrong' with the world at the moment for us as women.

However. If you care enough about women, and the status of women, to ask us the question - what do you think the issue is? What do you think we're asking or fighting for?

NameChange30 · 21/10/2016 23:14

"For people to use correct grammar"

Hell yes to that. Mistakes in the thread title and every post!

NowtSalamander · 21/10/2016 23:15

Hang on, this question sounds really familiar. OP, are you the ghost of....Freud?

HillaryFTW · 21/10/2016 23:15

Poor runner. Bad thread for you!

ageingrunner · 21/10/2016 23:16

Thanks Hillary. It is an unexpectedly carby thread.

NameChange30 · 21/10/2016 23:16

"Have you ever had a conversation about what men need for equality? Or is it just women you care about?"

Well obviously we want all men to die or be our slaves.

HTH

Nrdad1 · 21/10/2016 23:17

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking for I understand that you want equality. What I was wonder was what areas you believe that society is not equal. I have a mother and sister and would be very upset if they were treated in a sexist manner

OP posts:
KnottyPineHell · 21/10/2016 23:17

So you've had conversations, have you bothered to listen to the reponses?
