I'm a senior manager in a FTSE 350 business. Gender ratios at senior level are very poor; there's little recognition of the dynamic and no acceptance that it's an issue (lots of "we recruit the best people, we're not sexist".)
I've managed to raise some interest in the subject at board level and have been invited to share my views to help them understand the issue and potential steps forward
I'm looking for source material to reference - examples of initiatives / programmes that have proven to be effective (especially if they are low cost), companies with great gender equality programmes, examples of best practice, etc.
Where can I source some robust material to build a credible and unemotional argument (I have a tendency to rant but that approach won't change anything)..
