Is an app that is the same as Tinder but lets the woman "make the first move" feminist at all?

not really in my opnion (which is worth very little once buffy gets here).
instead of this, which is just hiding the problem (oh we don't like that behaviour so we will put a screen up to hide it).
Men need teaching women on average don't like crotch shots, we need to fight back, tell them why we are now blocking them.

I just think the men that do this would still do it once the woman makes the first contact. And it might even be more of a "thrill" to do it to somebody on a site/app like this. I'm not sure.

I don't do OLD but what happens to men who harass women? Are they banned from the site or is it accepted? Surely if they were being banned from dating sites for this behaviour then that would make them less likely to do it.

I'm not sure I'd call it "feminist" but more in the category of "designed to protect women".

And I can imagine it working to some extent, because to generate responses from a woman, a man would have to put up a profile that's somewhat attractive. A man who just wants to hide behind an anonymous user name and bully women probably wouldn't take the trouble, knowing that he'd probably be getting kicked off and would have to start again. Maybe that suggests that there ought to be significant work involved to establish a profile, so that users would value their profiles once they're created.

Your opinion is worth as much as anyone else's.

Perhaps both tinder and bumble use static photographic appearance as the main factor as to whether a relationship is initiated. In that sense, both men and women are equally devalued?

I think it's horrible.
