They have been voted in for 5 years. They csn do what they like. There is no point....

Bit defeatist hey?!

I volunteer for them and there are 300 coaches coming from outside London, the police have agreed to a potentially quite controversial route as they have acknowledge a huge number of people are going to turn up. Police are projecting over 100,000 organisers 250,000.

You can only try.

Women are disproportionatly affected by the cuts and I think have an obligation to attend if they can. Or support in some way anyway.

Plus, they have a tiny minority and already look they are going to u-turn on the human rights act (partly due to lots of angry activism), I think the worst of it can be curbed personally.

One million people marched against the war in Iraq and what notice did the government take?

FriendofBill · 12/06/2015 21:53

I'm going with some friends and our DC.
Is there a specific place the families are meeting?

FriendofBill · 12/06/2015 21:53

Enjoying my human right to protest

Yes, there is a families bloc (play and sing against austerity bloc www.facebook.com/events/563265757149802/) and they are assembling with the feminists and womens bloc near the in front zone c. Assembling on the corner of Bucklesbury and Queen Victoria Street.

2 million people marched against the Iraq war and shattered the illusion of democracy. I'm proud I marched.

Fantastic. Thank you

There is a shorter march (mainly aimed at people with disabilities and other mobility problems) but families are welcome on it if they feel it would be better for them. www.thepeoplesassembly.org.uk/access_info_20jun?utm_campaign=demoroute20615&utm_medium=email&utm_source=thepeoplesassembly

Yes!
People might not know that they can march with children. Let's use MN to get the message out.
