I am not Feminist

Muslim786 · 01/06/2015 01:59

I would like to mention several facts about feminists. Agree or not, at least try to ponder about it:

  1. Feminists are rude
  1. They tend to be rich or upper middle class
  1. They over-analyze everything which men do. So now a man cannot even open his mouth to pass a little comment or say something ordinary without thinking twice or thrice how his feminist-influenced wife will scream "misogynist" and create an argument out of nothing.
  1. Feminists want political power

Now before you swarm me with negative comments (I hope I'm wrong in anticipating that) I would like to say that the feminists of old days were much better. They were concerned with human dignity and good treatment of women. They deserve to be saluted. Why modern feminists are not willing to negotiate or compromise?

Please I am asking this question very sincerely and do not want to create any kind of social disturbance.

Feminists want political power

Well you are absolutely correct on this one.

I love your post though - from user name through to feminists of the old days, to failure to compromise (because women never do that - oh wait a sec they do all the time including the suffragettes of america compromising to allow freed male slaves to get the vote ahead of them - and it has never worked to their advantage - but I digress), it is a piece of work. well done.

You sound ever so stupid.

CarriesBucketOfBlood · 01/06/2015 02:18

Compromise is a terrible idea. Straight, white, cis, middle class men don't ever have to compromise. They're about 10% of the population and control almost everything that I can think of.
In order to change things, we need to stop accepting their ultimate authority and take control.

Fabulous. Thanks for letting us know.

Muslim786 · 01/06/2015 02:26

Compromise is not at all a terrible idea. Flexibility is the key to success. You can look at a compromise in two ways...both parties lose out on something or both parties have gained something. I prefer the latter perspective. I am an optimist (btw most feminists are cynical). What's the big issue of the day? Cost of childcare. I'm pretty sure that's the elephant in the room and the subject being discussed the most on this discussion board of yours. Look at these other kids coming home from school to an empty house. They open the fridge and drink a little grape juice box, then watch tv or play games until late at night when single mom comes home exhausted and spent. Very sad. at least think about it friends.

Where is daddy in your scenario?

grumpyuncleR · 01/06/2015 02:32

Gawd, the standard of trolling has seriously deteriorated.
Go away ya eeejit

Muslim786 · 01/06/2015 02:37

"Where is daddy in your scenario?"

Non-existent thanks to feminism

Tedious trolling.

Just really bloody tedious.

Muslim786 · 01/06/2015 02:42

Well what you call trolling is what I call trying to have some debate and challenging your tidy little views. If your views can't be challenged and you just want to be around people who are going to nod their heads at everything you say be my guest.

OP posts:
grumpyuncleR · 01/06/2015 02:46

No, you have not challenged any actual feminist views, you just made a few vague and inaccurate assertions in the hope of provoking a reaction. You are just a timewaster and agent provocateur.

HirplesWithHaggis · 01/06/2015 02:54

Wow, feminists have virgin births! Who knew?

For an optimist, you seem pretty cynical about feminists...

Whowouldfardelsbear · 01/06/2015 04:34

most feminists are cynical

I'm not sure I believe that. Grin

madwomanbackintheattic · 01/06/2015 04:58

You might not be a feminist, but you are a bit crap at this trolling stuff.

1/10.

And you only got the 1 because I feel a bit sorry that you don't have anything better to do with yourself at this time of night.

  1. Feminists are rude to petty minded trolls. Yes. To everyone interested in reasonable discussion, feminists are darlings, doncha know. Sadly you are a petty minded troll, so you might have missed the lack of rudeness. Now fuck off, there's a dear.
  1. Has your wife left you because you are a misogynistic ass hat? While unfortunate for you, I suspect she will be better off. Feminists only complain about misogynistic husbands when, erm their husbands are misogynists. Indeed I have never screamed misogynist at my own lovely husband, or created a row about nothing. Look to yourself for the answer to that one. This feminist and her husband are fine, thanks.
  1. Cost of childcare?

Bahahahahahahahahahahaha.

That is all.

TheVermiciousKnid · 01/06/2015 06:45

So kind of you to come here and tell us what we're doing wrong and how we should be doing it.

Nolim · 01/06/2015 06:49

Vague and inaccurate describes it.

PuffinsAreFictitious · 01/06/2015 08:17

1. Feminists are rude

Only to utter fuckheads that deserve it.

2. They tend to be rich or upper middle class

Just going to point and laugh at you there.

3. They over-analyze everything which men do. So now a man cannot even open his mouth to pass a little comment or say something ordinary without thinking twice or thrice how his feminist-influenced wife will scream "misogynist" and create an argument out of nothing.

Only if what the man has said is misogynist. If he's commenting about the weather I usually let him speak. If he turned round and told me that feminists are rich, rude, stupid and only in it for the power, then he'd get a different response.

4. Feminists want political power

Yes, sorry, man, but power sharing is what we're after. I know that's going to be difficult for you to understand, but political power is how things are changed. And things need to change, for everyone's sake.

5. most feminists are cynical

The opposite of optimist is pessimist, not cynical. You might need to get a dictionary.

Feel free to come back when you feel you can construct a cogent argument. Until then, I pity your poor wife, but, as she's in the US with you, there's not much I can do to help her.

Enormouse · 01/06/2015 08:21

So……you came on a feminism board to say you're not a feminist?

Goady, twatty and pointless.

AnyFucker · 01/06/2015 08:23

No shit, Sherlock

FenellaFellorick · 01/06/2015 08:29
  1. Feminists are rude no. Feminists are not compliant. There is a difference. If a person wants women to be deferential and meek and obedient and accepting than anyone who comes along and says hell no, I won't accept this, may well be thought of as rude by such a person.
  1. They tend to be rich or upper middle class I'd love to see you prove that. I live hand to mouth and I grew up on a sinkhole estate with a dad who was a miner and a mum who was a cleaner. I am a feminist.
  1. They over-analyze everything which men do. So now a man cannot even open his mouth to pass a little comment or say something ordinary without thinking twice or thrice how his feminist-influenced wife will scream "misogynist" and create an argument out of nothing. hmmm, I suspect the nature of the 'little comment' would be significant. Don't say anything misogynistic and you won't be pulled up on it. I understand the desire to have women shut up and accept the status quo.
  1. Feminists want political power hell yes. Power is in the hands of a small group of rich white men. EVERYONE should want that to change!
