Youtube censorhip of feminism comments

Hello everyone. This is the second thread i start here.

So i was debating for weeks on feminism on youtube. I then realised they had erased more than 70% of my comments. No wonder most of the comments i posted did not get any answers...

They are still visible in my youtube account, but disapeared for everyone else. I typed: Youtube comment censorship, in google, and found out it was very common for youtube to censor political and ideological comments.

I had put my heart and soul in those comments.

Since i dont have the money, and probably do not have the energy to intend a lawsuit, i figured that telling people wherever i can was the best thing to do.

I also am an agnostic. I realised that feminism is way, way more hated than agnosticism, or atheism. In a world as religious as ours, i think it says it all.

I'm surprised by that as form the comments I've seen on youtube I assumed they didn't even moderate it You get some properly vile stuff all mixed up with the witterings of 7 year olds whose parents don't seem to understand the internet (or internet safety).

It's a misogynist cesspit.

Also very surprised.

It's community moderated, isn't it? If something gets enough downvotes it just disappears.... no?

That is exactly what anger me the most, you have people saying racist insult, treatening others agressivly, and they leave there comments.

But if you speak about taboo subject, thet verify very closely.

I dont think so, in youtube, you cannot go under +0. Only up. I guess many people could have signal my comments as spam, but i highly doubt it.

The vast majority of my comments were very respectfull. Sometimes here and there some sarcasm and such, but no insults.

Also, my comments disapear almost instantly. Like a comment where i was explaining that youtube was censoring comments, and giving link to video explaining it. It got deleted almost instantly.

And if you want to know more about it, type: Youtube comment censorship. In google. There is alot of people complaining about it in videos, ironically, many are on youtube... :)

I'm really surprised by that, I have seen all sorts of comments on youtube, really awful things are just accepted as par for the course. I've seen plenty of overtly sexist comments, are they not considered political/ideological then?

Do you want to know what the delicious irony is? There is plenty, plenty of comments against feminism, some of them very agressive, violent. I have read one where the anti-feminist said, in a pro-feminism video:

"That woman need a good old fashined rape!"

And of course, that comment had hundreds of people giving +1, and complacent comments to the original one.

They leave those kind of comments there. But erase intelligent and respectfull comment that are pro-feminism. Very strange indeed.
