Okay, we all know I have some subjects where I see things completely differently to others but this is one thing I think we will all be happy about here. So Sky are covering all of the Women's Ashes next year, a full summer of cricket. Many people here will agree this is the first big step in terms of coverage of sports and people finally having proper recognition. Of course disappointed that we are not yet getting more regular coverage of football but this is at least a start.

Thanks for this.

Bbc2 is showing the England -Germany football game on sun 23 Nov at 3pm and it's sold out at wembley!

That is good news. The team needs more fans at the venues. They have had sporadic games on sky.
Is the lack of posts on a cricket thread due to socialisation?

Nope. Only just seen it.

This is good news. Personally I enjoy a bit of cricket whilst doing the decorating. Unfortunately I don't have Sky. That could be changed though

King, possibly partly because the thread title wasn't super clear, could've been about men making the sandwiches in the pavilion for a change Grin

My mum will be furious, she doesn't have Sky Grin

Don't suppose they're likely to end up on Virgin Media?
