Just heard Eleanor de Freitas's father on the radio explaining what happened. The police decided not to prosecute her rapist because of Ms de Freitas' fragile emotional state. And then her rapist opened a private prosecution against her for making the allegation which was supported by the CPS, despite there being bugger all evidence she had lied.
