Anyone seen the hoardings at Malmaison Manchester?

Surprisingly few comments on their Facebook page. Apparently there is also a picture of a man but I've not seen it.

Can't see this helping the situation of the few women who do work in construction.

That is a phenomenally bad concept for an ad. What are they trying to say? That women, even when they are in a trade like construction, should be dressed in a strapless dress and full makeup? What would their female clientele think? I think it is a very strange message to send to their female customers. Or is the message solely for the men that stay there? That they are trying to tempt the men with sexy female construction workers? Just really weird on so many levels Confused

I suspect they're thinking of nothing more than selling a glamorous image, but yes, it's a bit off-putting. Brings to mind dodgy porn "scenarios".
