Can anyone recommend a good book for DD?

I follow A Mighty Girl on fb and often manage to find their book recommendations on amazon. However, being an American site they're not all relevant, particularly those about women in history. I would love DD (4) to learn about strong, influential women but so far haven't managed to find a British equivalent for children.

Does anyone know of any? TIA.

Girls are best by Sandi Toksvig? I haven't read it but it normally gets good reviews when mentioned on here.

I got that for my DNiece. Vile SIL rolled her eyes when talking about it, so it's probably the best book ever actually written.
