Is on 25 October 2014 this year (half term) at the Institute of Education. Children under 12 go free, there is a creche and there are workshops for 7-11 year olds (mixed) and teenagers (girls only). Over 20 workshops and over 60 speakers, plus art exhibition, stalls, Red Tent, quiet space (with lava lamps!) and a lunchtime talk on women resisters to WWI. This year also has an international element with the Istanbul Feminist Kolectiv talking and a panel on sisterhood around the globe.

Details and booking here: www.feminisminlondon.co.uk

I'm involved in it so I would say this but I really think this is the best programme we've had so far. Hope to see some MNers there - I'll be the very very pregnant one!

SevenZarkSeven · 08/10/2014 20:53

I'll be there Smile

PuffinsAreFicticious · 08/10/2014 21:01

I'm going.... travelling from the provinces to have another wonderfully feministy day.

EBearhug · 08/10/2014 23:25

I'm going. Booked on the STEM one in the morning and... another one in the afternoon.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 09/10/2014 05:23

I'm going. I went last year and really enjoyed it.

sashh · 09/10/2014 06:43

Looks good.

At first glance I can't see any info about disabled access.

Sorry I've been back, it is there but hidden in 'about the venue'.

I'd really like to go but don't think I can. And please please don't think I'm being picky but I have a question that would be relevant if I was attending. I have a carer, he is a he, would he be allowed to accompany me to this?

DemisRoussos · 09/10/2014 07:57

I'm going, really looking forward to it Smile

PuffinsAreFicticious · 09/10/2014 08:14

Sashh, I'm sure I remember seeing something about disabled access and yes a male carer would be fine. There's a woman's only talk I think, but the rest are open.

KarmaViolet · 09/10/2014 12:19

sashh We do have disabled access and we have a volunteer who is co-ordinating any additional needs. A carer would get free entry, email the conference [email protected] if you're able to attend & want to sort details. A man would be fine in the mixed workshops and we can provide a volunteer to assist if you wanted the women only ones.

ZombiePuffinsAreREAL · 25/10/2014 21:36

Been following it on Twitter. Looks like it was amazing. Hope you all had a brilliant time and feel revitalised in your feminism.

EBearhug · 25/10/2014 23:43

We (well, MN) were named!
I am mostly feeling v tired, as I am only just leaving Waterloo on the train just now.

EarthMither · 25/10/2014 23:47

EBearhug · 26/10/2014 00:38

The dates they had were 24 & 25 October next year - two days.
