Why FFS! I was reading a thread on another board where a guy asked an OP if he had to use one. I had a bloke ask me recently "Is it essential" Are men who do this not bothered about a possible unwanted pregnancy or an STI. Do they not care about a womans health or even their own! Im at this attitude.

And i actually think these attitudes from men who dont want to use condoms will get worse now that women are going to have to pay for access to the Child Maintenance Service. Its going to be Christmas and Mardi Gras all the way for men like this.

Surely contraceptive is down to both parties?? If the woman wants to have sex, then she should make sure he's using one too. If he's not prepared to use a condom, she shouldn't have sex with him.

Agree Lady Sybil Im just having a rant because the number of times ive seen on threads and in RL where blokes try to wriggle out of it are too many to count.

And theres the chance he may decide to whip the condom off during the act even after agreeing to use one. The earlier reluctance to do so beforehand would make me wary of this.

I have met plenty of condom dodgers in my time. And yes I agree OP - WTF is the matter with these men? Is it that essential to them that they go without that they are prepared to strongly coerce a woman who is at a moment of weakness and risk catching something / causing a pregnancy?

I never understood it at all.

I could never consider a condom dodger a potential serious partner. It tells me
a) he doesn't care about his sexual health, therefore he doesn't care about mine
b) he probably has god knows how many children all over the place.

I'll be honest, I hate condoms and the sooner we both have clean tests and I'm back on the injection, the better! But condom dodging is the sign of a wanker.

Of course they try to wiggle out of it. I bet these are the sort of men who take no responsibility for their children either.

I mainly met condom dodgers when I was younger - teens and early 20s - not so much when I was older.

I wonder as with street harrassment they don't try it on so much as you get older as they know they'll get short shrift.

The guy whos tried this with me is 59. STIs are actually rising in this group faster than any other age group.
