Not quite correct, muffin. He's allowed to apply for leave to appeal, which is what he has done. Incidentally, he has already applied twice for such leave and been turned down twice.

And the body to which he has applied turns down the vast majority of applications. So we will wait and see, but we are a long way from an actual appeal.
