Probably not much of a thread this one, but I watched Whalerider with DS tonight. It's a great film - needs tissues. But it's also a good lesson in the unwarranted stubbornness of people thinking girls can't do what boys traditionally do.

Well worth a watch with the kids.

Second that! Huge film here in NZ, of course. I saw it on a plane and one of the flight attendants told me they loved it when it played coz everyone was quiet and reflective afterwards Grin

Not seen it yet but have heard it's great. How old is your DS? Think my DDs are still abit young for it.
