Anyone seen the the film, Earth to Echo?

It's a load of rubbish but it particularly annoyed me that at one point a 12 year old boy who was crying was told (by another 12 year old boy) he was a 'woman.' The three main character were, rather predictably boys. A girl was then introduced into the story. She added nothing, except to act an a love interest to one of the boys. She was even nicknamed 'mannequin.'

Argh!

Oh arse, DD wants to see that. I shall have to distract her with the Boxtroll movie (am hoping that's not awful too).

I went to see a film with DD. We had been discussing the Bechdale test. I put one finger up during the first trailer and whispered 'one girl' as there was one girl in the ensemble cast.

DD then put her finger up for every single trailer including the film you mentioned.

It is ridiculous and I am sick of it. I am not going to see it.
